Pros & Cons
Pros
Solid packaging lets you know this company cares about its product. Feels nice and sturdy. Heavy pot, the stainless steel is a nicer thick gauge.
Tramontina prima is a decent substitution, the lid is not tight-fitting. Love the fit of the lid and the gently angled rim on the pan. Searing is excellent.
My culinary experience spans almost 40 years. I like using cookware that's low maintenance. Works great on electric stove.

Shipping
Thanks to wirecutter for the recommendation and amazon for shipping it fast, and economically.
Packaging/appearance
The solid packaging (heavy two-ply corrugated cardboard) lets you know this company cares about its product.

Now buy this line instead of le creuset.
I looked at reviews on cooks illustrated and while this brand was well-rated i worried because it's a lot less expensive than o... Read More
