First off this pot is made in brazil it is triclad which means the sandwiching of the aluminum and stainless steel goes around the entire pot not just the bottom

The handles do not get at all hot on the stove top

One lid arrived with a rattle in the handle no reason i couldnt use it i just didnt like the rattle
