Pros

The tramontina skillet is perfect for big one-skillet meals like mexican, and for cooking down like sausage gravy for biscuits. It is completely non-stick and so easy to clean.

One tiny chip on the rim. But that's easy to resolve. It takes a little more patience and, as a set, could make a nice gift. No complaints whatsoever.

Being able to just rinse out even the stickiest, crustiest foods is fantastic. And ceramic is attractive. Easy to handle & easy to clean.

I imagine the staining is because i was not diligent with using low heat for sautéing. The ceramic surface - even after seasoning twice at high heat with ghee - is not even close to non-stick - an egg cooked with evoo even sticks. It's not copper. Is ... Read More

These are stamped on the bottom that they are made in italy. They say the damage is due to misuse and will not replace the pot. They are not durable and despite what they say, ceramic is not durable.

In my humble opinion i think the ceramic coating is superior to other coatings available.

I have another ceramic pan that's defied scratches better than any other non stick coating so i wanted a similar.

I have gotten other tramontina pans with a different coating and they are not the same.
