Pros

Built in strainer is the best part, don't need a colander. Excellent finish, works great but sidewalls are a little thin and prone to denting.

It shines like a new penny. No complaint about using it. I almost feel like the folks that are complaining about this got a completely different item.

This has yet to disappoint. The glass fogs so seeing what you are cooking is not always possible through the cover. My one quibble is that the edge of the lid came with a small dent in it.

Cons

What a bunch of no-integrity goons. It has a strong metallic smell and greyish residue, which can not be clean off. The interior surface of the pot is horrible.

It’s a sturdy, quality pot with nice handles.

Unfortunately the handle on the lid can get burning hot ( the last glass lid pan i had did not have this problem.

5 inch cooking surface diameter and the pot is about 10 inches outside diameter.

Price

This is a great pot for the price.

Great value for the money and highly recommend if you in the market for a 5 gallon stock pot.

However this is a good pot at this price point.

I’m not certain if it’s considered pricey.

Despite amazon listing brazil as the "country of origin", the box the stock pot came in, clearing indicated it was from china.

I unpacked it to see what the quality looks like.

I love the pot was expecting the lid to be as pictured.

I would have preferred a clear lid, but could not find a tramontina brand in the size i needed, with clear lid.
