Pros & Cons
Pros
The tramontina 80 120/509ds has a thick bottom that heats up fast on an induction cooktop. It's perfect for boiling spaghetti and pouring out the water when done. The strainer lid fits alongside the plates in the dishwasher.
Sturdy and the draining lip is so helpful. The strainer top makes draining pasta easy. My only criticism so far is that i'd prefer brushed stainless steel.
Good, heavy-duty pot. One for in the house and one for my rv. It is heavier than other one. Nice size, sturdy construction.
Cons
On medium-high, this pot still takes forever to boil water. The top rim is too sharp for me to handle safely, especially since this pot is heavier than my old one. The lid collects food and soapy water in its rim.

Actuallly on the box it states that it's made in china but packaged in the usa.

I could’ve spent sooo much more for a big brand - glad i didn’t.
Also, the handles do get extremely hot (unlike my other tramontina larger pots) and the handle on the lid is also very hot.
