Pros

Steamer basket is lighter but strong and sturdy. It steams very evenly and very durable and useful.

Great pot and steamer combo. Similar, but not exact, replacement for a much larger, squatter and no-longer-available one.

These unit performs very well in my opinion. The design is pretty and the price is even prettier. The thickness is good for the price.

Clean up is pretty good. I use a stainless steel cleaner and it cleans up very nice. Stainless is easy to clean.

Cons

Right after the one-month return date. Must constantly open lid.

Great steamer, good metal thickness unlike theothers, easy to clean.

The base pan is solid and sturdy.

It was a mess: hared to wash, hard to load, couldn't see what was inside.

All having a dough outside, which would catch the steam droplets from the lid without the hole and make them sticky.

Price

This is a fine unit at a very attractive price.

I am so impressed with this steamer and am so glad i paid a bit more than i wanted.

For the price it is a good value.

However the price is too high but i guess you get what you paid for :).

Just received it a few days ago and we have been using it daily.

Packaging/appearance

Came exactly as described and i’m so happy.

The pot came in a nice box by itself that kept it safe.

It hasn't gotten dented at all, just a few scratches from metal utensils.

Competitiveness

I can't imagine the much more expensive all clad steamer would perform any better.

I usually purchase my stainless steel pots from certain (more expensive) company but i might change over after this pot.
