Pros

Purchased this for my model 3’s dashcam/sentry mode. Packaging shows usb 3. Usb 3. I have an older one of these that does have the indicator.

Tested faster than many drives more expensive (including multi-gb writes). I get around 117mbs read and 35mbs write when i benchmark it. Batches of smaller files naturally get written at about 8mb/s.

Cons

This is garbage that belongs in the bin, i am astounded anyone makes or sells this trash.

Warranty says 5 years on packaging so i don't know why people are talking about lifetime warranties.

Competitiveness

I think this drive is better and more sturdy than some others i've had in the past, and the price is good.

I bought another brand at the same time and that one failed and had to be redone while this one was efficient and worked as needed.

That's what i'm doing and speed is increased 2-3 times compared to the other (all v2.
