Pros
The transcend fits flush into my macbook pro expanding storage by an extra 256gb instantly.
The drive extends the capacity of your existing hard disk. It works with all versions of apple's operating system. The only annoyance is that you lose the sd card slot - easily remedied by buying an external usb3 card reader for a few pounds.
Cons
This is too unreliable. Becomes unreadable and unwritable. Do not buy.
You need to get your fingernails behind what appears to be a flimsy plastic fascia. Is difficult to remove and isn't a permanent viable expansion method.
