The quality of the figure itself is very high, especially in robot mode.
If you're not familiar with the headmaster concept, brainstorm's head pops off, and transforms into a smaller figure.
Packaging/appearance
The headmaster, not given a name in the packaging, is well designed.
I'm not even rushing out to get the reprolabels to make him more g1 accurate--he looks great as-is, right out of the box.

I wish hasbro would make more of them.

As for the main complaint about this figurethe touchy headmaster and how hard it is to remove itmine also has the tendency to be tight even when using the release lever by the cockpit

You might have to gently pry it out using a very small screwdriver while pressing up on the release button on brainstorms chest
