Pros
Jet mode is very sleek and satisfying. Holds its form solidly, it doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart if you shake it. Compromises are forgivable as compromises need to be made.
The figure is extremely solid, no loose parts, and it can hold several poses without toppling. His accessorizes are the iconic null rays. I prefer this to his siege incarnation as it's the alt mode i best remember him in.
It has the classic g1 look but with modern sculpting and design. Compared to g1 version, the looks are a total upgrade. Good limb articulation and a great looking f15 alternate form.
My nephew has a little trouble transforming him by himself. It's an annoyance but the figure is usable and transformable even with this defect. And mommy (me) always has to learn how to transform them.

Joints are nice and tight, and vehicle mode hides arms/legs very well.
This is a great take on starscream really accurate detail, made well, not loose, transforms great.
We are missing nowadays such quality toys.
I may be wrong this thing may be designed to take a pounding, but changing him from robot to plane yesterday was cringeworthy.

Just don't pay the scalper prices for this -- wait for it to come back in stock.
Looks likes the cartoon, and not at a g1 price.
Is a good stand-in since mp starscream is too expensive

Seller sent the item way to late

Package in great condition, and great looking figure.
Shame it wasn't packed properly andnth box was completely damaged.
This was sold as brand new and not like new condition or something that would explain a damaged package.
The packaging was the bare yellow envelope and so the box was utterly crushed to all hell, luckily the figure was fine.
Competitiveness
Well worth the cost in comparison to other transformers.
Wow, this is the closest to starscream g1.
Compared to g1 version, the looks are a total upgrade.
Not as many steps as most transformers out there.
