And then you buy it and always it turns out that they were deceiving you in some way

The worst offenders are it’s a partsformer or it has exposed robotpart syndrome or faux alternate mode parts or unsightly kibble that they cleverly hid from you with their camera angle

And in addition to this things don’t tab in properly or cheaply made hinges pop off while you scream at them while trying to align things with micrometer precision just to get the robot to even approximate its ultimate form
