Pros

The gripper elastic holds the bag in place perfectly. It works as described for holding the trash bag in our compactor. Was tired of having to replace bungee cords.

These bands are tighter, yet flexible and fit better. The band eliminates my main trash can grievance. It fits perfectly around a 13 gallon kitchen trash can.

Simple device works like a charm. Such simple devices make life that must joyful.

Cons

The bands feel very tight for 30gal cans. They almost take off my finger when it snapped from the can. They do not.
