Exactly as pictured, great quality and durable. These are even better than my old pom glasses. It's a minor thing and would not prohibit me from purchasing.

Cons
Jars are thin & crack easy and their airtight system is a thin flimsy foam disc that just sits loosely inside the cap. The foam insert comes out and is one more thing to wash or misplace.
Unimpressed with these. Completely worthless. The glass is very fragile and i don’t think will stand up to long term use.
Seal in the lid is not good enough for the second fermenting process. Lid leak-proof only because of a separate foam insert, not clarified in seller's description as of jan 2020. But, contents leak if foam removed.
Highlights
Quality
Jars work perfectly fine with the lift with that piece removed.
But i am happy with the way they look and happy to have the screw caps which hopefully will prevent any kinds of possible leakage.
Glasses are great, but screw tops are low quality, on the first usage we already broke one top
I will say, the lid comes with a foam/plastic like liner - i went with the advice of other reviews and removed it.
Price
The cost was reasonable and that was the deciding factor in these jars.
The lids should last forever & the price made it affordable.
Competitiveness
They are almost as tall as a 16oz water bottle & just about as thick as one as well.

The only thing im concerned about is the foamy gasket layer in there will be interesting to see if it lasts through dishwashing cycles over the years
