Only had to use one of the plugs on my trip and it was fineexcept i must have left it in a outlet somewhere and you cant just buy a replacement for the one lost

Each adapter accepts polarized us plug that means one flat prong is wider than another so the plug can only be inserted in one direction

Note that you can insert a nonpolarized us plug into a polarized us socket but not vice verse

Unfortunately i was unable to insert a us standard 110 plug in any of these adapters directly out of the package i had to use a toothpick to widen the contacts to allow insertion of the plug
