Pros

It fit under every united flight we were on. It fits under the seat, as long as the aircraft is set up for a normal size area. It has wheels built-in, which makes it taller, but it's so much better on my back and shoulders.

Love my luggage. Held a lot and so much better than backpack. We have a lot of good luggage from briggs and riley and this one is on par or better than with their similar offerings.

The plum is a beautiful color. It is sturdy but lightweight. My husband has an old, old swiss gear piece that has just taken the most brutal of beatings and still looks, and works fabulous.

No bag is perfect, and the reasons i chose this particular brand and set of luggage far outweigh my above caveats. The added vanity bag is also very well thought out and adds to the functionality.

It rolls smoothly and has a trolley sleeve to place upon a larger bag.

Packaging/appearance

I really believe that if you are a seasoned traveler, with the usual packing needs, this bag would work perfectly for you.

We have the luggage, plus the packing cubes, which i love.

It could fit my 15 inch laptop if it wasn't packed full but i wouldn't recommend it.

The packing cubes can zip in and out of your carry-ons and it's nice if they coordinate.

Competitiveness

We have a lot of good luggage from briggs and riley and this one is on par or better than with their similar offerings.

I exchanged this bag for a slightly smaller version , also from travel pro.
