Pros & Cons
Pros
The telescoping handle works extremely well. There is a generous zipped area on the top. The removable toiletries bag is tsa-approved.
This is the best carryon i have owned. As tall as my tallest carryon and as wide as my widest carryon. Next to my platinum elite, it is simply wider.
Great rollaboard. One minor 'dirt/scuff' mark. Wheels are solid and spinner is smooth.
I'm a big fan of briggs & riley, which are quite expensive but last a long time. My only negative comment is regarding the ouch price. So firstly, the overall price is very good considering what you get.
Everything about this suitcase is next level with being impressive. It's like having a personal butler for your luggage. I'm pretty sure this luggage will outlast me.
Cons
The handle only raises 11 inches. Absolutely miserable to carry around. The title even advertises it as a “21-inch” bag.
Highlights
Quality
This suitcase and particularly this model is extremely well made and durable.
Solid construction and premium materials, a great bag.
Straps are so hard to open i had to use a bottle opener to get them open so i didn’t use them.
It wouldn't pull well, and after one set of flights (1 day, 2 flights) there was noticeable wear on the suitcase.
Price
Pricey, but an excellent bag over all.
I’m a tumi person, but my family needs luggage and i’m not laying down tumi prices for infrequent travelers.
Shipping
I recently took this on a trip through 7 eastern european countries over 24 days.
Packed for two week trip overseas with just this bag!
Bought this for a trip out of the country for 12 days.
I ordered one and when it arrived we were so impressed we bought another one.
Packaging/appearance
Packing was wonderful because of the hanging section where i could leave the tops on the hangers.
The built-in garment bag makes packing and keeping clothes wrinkle free.
Competitiveness
The travelpro bag did remarkably better than the swiss gear my husband bought.
I picked it over several other lower priced bags and glad i did.
After examining similar carry-on bags, they really don't compare to the quality of this bag.
Although this bag is slightly larger than some airline specifications for a carryon bag, i have not had an issue with it on any... Read More
