Pros & Cons
Pros
Lots of room to pack. It also has a very useful exterior pocket. This matches my travelpro roll aboard, which fits perfectly inside for storage.
Only concern is that the extendable, adjustable handles used for wheeling the bags seem a little wiggly during extension. It is lightweight and feels decently built. The lightest weight on the market.
Easy to maneuver either as a 4 wheel spinner or pulled behind me on two wheels. I only have one slight annoyance and that is that in some situations it’s a little hard to maneuver.
Cons
Buyer beware. It’s not repairable. You may receive a partial or no refund on used, damaged or materially different returns.
The telescoping handle has two positions and it does not! The suitcase feels flimsy, and after its first trip, the frame and a wheel broke. Outside pockets are too small and useless.
Despite it being called expandable, it only expands on the bottom for maybe an inch. Maybe some of you are willing to take a chance with fudging a few inches here abd there.
Highlights
Quality
Light weight, quality very good, easy glide.
Seems very well made and would recommend this to anyone.
Once we had clothes, shoes, toiletries in it we realized it become too heavy and too awkward to maneuver .
Was on the fence about buying them because of comments regarding quality of the wheels and the telescopic handle and strong chemical smell.
Price
All in all, good value for the price.
Very expensive lesson as cost to return to almost half of the suitcase cost.
Shipping
On arrival i could smell it and i decided to let the bags lie open to air out for the two+ weeks before my trip.
After this baby arrived i wish i had made the purchase sooner.
Packaging/appearance
I used packing cubes, so could find what i needed easily.
This has made me excited to pack my suitcase.
Use packing cubes if you want to compartmentalize.
Competitiveness
Travelpro may be more expensive than other brands, but it holds up very well and is my first choice of brand of luggage.
The swiss gear suitcase is a nice suitcase but is difficult to roll around in comparison and is also heavier.
I previously purchased the other and similar suitcase below which was highly rated on amazon.
