When they say it has 1gpbs transfer rate they're referring to all 5 ports collectively it seems. Capacity is not the 1gbit/gigabit.

Trendnet 5port is a decent stand in for ab 1783etap if youre in a bind with the recent etap delays and using stratix switches is not an option

Issues when using this switch in place of an etap in your network not supported by ab does not support ring topology time to reestablish connection after power cycling is longer and increase significantly with more switches the network

It mounts nicely on a din rail but you cant easily access the release spring once it is mounted

This makes it hard to release it from the rail or move it once you have it in place
