Pros

Trendnet 5-port unmanaged gigabit teg-s5g switch. I'm the sole it person for a company with 5 locations over 2 states. Time is a luxury i don't have.

Nice small size tucks away out of sight. Just fine for residential/soho use.

Cons

It looks like a bad item that qc missed. Ordered the switch online and tested it just out of return date. No use but rather then paper weight. Pile of junk.

There's not much that can be said for unmanaged switches to begin with, other than their build quality and if they function as expected.

Cisco, hp switches, meraki or even netgear), but the price of these are ridiculously low by comparison.

Works without a fuss right out of the box.

Competitiveness

We use this (older, but still great) model with a 2017 velop linksys router (pricey) and it works great.

I’ve used trendnet for years and it’s always beaten my expectations for the price.
