Pros

Gt; hdmi cables. Worked great out of the box (doesn't include cables btw) ports have to match exactly. Dport settings. But that has to do with which monitor the os sees first.

Kvm runs all resolutions at all the refresh frequencies my rig can produce perfectly. I have two two displays attached that can run at a full 144hz without issue. One is a 1440p 165hz monitor with g-sync and one - 1440p 60hz monitor.

Switching between the two computer works seamlessly. The keyboard and mouse connections are quick and responsive. The console keyboard is a g703 lightspeed mouse.

It switches fast and it works. The only real issue is you might have to login again when you switch. But this atrendnet switcher works well.

Cons

Update very defective product. Last order was for * 1. This unit is very cheap. Very disappointed, going to try out d-link instead now.

Unplugging the external 5v barrel connector andunplugging both pc usb connections to completely depower the device. Won't recognize the dell dock. Never got to even confirm that usb switches.

After some troubleshooting, i notice everything connected wirelessly to the satellite has no net. Limited lifetime warranty is useless for a product of this cost. Orbi will send you a refurbished unit or refund you the depreciated value of the product... Read More

The switch goes into a blinking mode and ceases to function. If i spray the chips with freon, the switch comes back for a short period. The single light is lit, but there is no gigabit stable connection.

Still flickering, blackouts and some monitors not working. Support for only 60hz refresh rate at 4k restricts my primary display to not being attached. Even when i turn the other monitor off it still blinks on and off.

That's huge, because there really aren't any other kvm switches from a brand you've ever heard of which can pull that off.

I don;t understand why kvm companies don't offer a hard wire monitor switch.
