Pros

It sure is nice. Its simple and easy to use/setup. I was impressed by the fact that a hardcopy version of the installation instructions was included in the package. Was easy to setup and secure it.

Cons

Don't buy this router. Ooma say the router is too complicated for their unit. Ended up getting an old linksys router and disabling wifi and installing dd-wrt.

This is the second trendnet product that i've bought that was faulty. Sadly didnt work out of the box. A guy told me a couple things to do and it didn't work, then he said he would assign a tech to set it up for a charge! Sent back for a refund.

Very frustrating experience. A piece of garbage. It gets the job done, but it's not particularly reliable.

Even the simplest of changes require a reboot. The global dns server setting has absolutely no effect. If you power on the modem and the router at the same time, the router requests an ip address before the modem has connected to the internet.

Great product at a great price with fast shipping!

This is a great performing device at a good price.

You don't to spend lot of money.

I'd say that is $20 well spent.

Packaging/appearance

I took it out of the box, connected all necessary cables and it came up running and worked great.

I got the package, opened it, hooked up the new router & everything worked again - that easy.

Competitiveness

It seemed so simple: replace my worn out trendnet router with the exact same model.

I bought 2 different "routers", or what appeared to be routers, which turned out to be switches, not routers.

I replaced a name brand combo wifi router and most websites were slow to open and streaming videos would buffer.

Shut down both routers, isp and the trendnet router.
