Pros
Bought it to power a wifi ap. Luckily my wap has an option to manually set the poe mode. G device to get poe/poe+, this adapter works great.
Meraki mr56 is able to negotiate at 5gbps vs the rated 2. Gb ap with no errors at all. Gbe, get it. G lan.
Cons
Maybe i got a dud, it happens. Frequent disconnects. When they do occasionally sync with the controller, they run in power-restricted mode.

It's cool to the touch and has a very sturdy metal case.
This thing is built like a tank and has no problems suppling bt power.
I'm using two of these with two omada eap670 access points and they're working well.
