Pros

Network cable tester is very nice. Eventually, your connecting to a live wire is inevitable! This unit works well as a static tester of ethernet cables.

It generates a tone for finding wires and is useful for coax / bnc as well. Came with a zipper carrying case. Usually sits in a drawer in the case it came with.

Cons

Trendnet rma requires you pay for shipping both ways ($40) to replace it. Part is dirt cheap and some shoddy workmanship. Loop back function still works but the remote is junk.

Only used lightly for wiring my house back in 2013. If you plug it in to something that is live you will blow the leds rendering it useless. Would recommend spending extra money for better tester for network cable.
