Pros

This product works great. Well packaged. For the price, it is outstanding. When i need another or anyone asks for a recommendation, it's an easy choice.

The best thing is that the port lights and the actual plug port are on opposite sides. Good metal case with airflow at the sides. Nice led indicators.

The difference on roku and game systems and smart tv's is immediately apparent. All my devices are 100 megabit except for the 1 lan port which connects back to my gigabit router. It appears to get full gigabit speeds. Good for extending fiber internet... Read More

Cons

The warranty from trendnet is useless as well. The shipping cost is almost 50% of what i paid for this.

Maybe this one is a dud, but it's frustrating when a company won't stand behind their product. This can not be mounted, it has no provision to mount.

Excellent switch and it does what it is supposed to without any issues.

The construction is solid with a metal housing and both mounting holes and rubber feet on the bottom.

It’s such a treat having transfer speeds beyond 1 gig.

Price

For the money you can't beat what this thing is capable of.

Enter this product which met all my criteria (and then some) for what i consider to be a resonance price.

Not sure why these are so cheap.

Anyway, having the connectors all tuck away discreetly in the back was worth the extra couple of dollars to me.
