Not a big issue, i just press the button and switch back, but it did happen more than once, but rare enough not make this product unusable.
I couldn't be happier with the ease of setup and i just keep it in a desk drawer, so all the cable mess is out of sight.

Competitiveness
I use it to switch between my win7 & win10 computers.
I tried installing the driver / utility (kvm switcher software) from trendnet website and it completely broke my windows 7.
I have a wireless logitech g602 mouse and a wireless logitech k400+ keyboard usb receivers plugged into the unit.
I use this to view and control my windows server and pfsense router.

For aesthetics the casing has a shiny cheap plastic look

Ive only tried one regular keyboard no backlight and a few different mice and had no issues but i see in a few comments people mentioned they had issues getting their keyboardmouse to work

The only issue i encountered was that windows 7 had a hard time initially accepting the usb inputs but downloading a secondary driver from the manufacturers website fixed it
