Pros
The greenstar elite is a very good vegetable juicer. It saves me an hour with daily juicing. The only downside to this juicer is that it takes awhile to clean.
not laborious, especially if cleaned right after use. Greenstar provides you with the brushes and tools to help with this but it is still a bit tedious. Comes with its own filter brush with tiny bristles to get into every nook and cranny.
This product performs very well. Fast shipping as usual.
Carrots have an unexpected flavor note of caramel. Ginger is hotter than with the centrifugal juicer. Works well on firm fruit/veg (not berries, or ripe fruit). This means you are getting more juice out of the veggies.
Cons
The juicer comes with two screens, hardest to clean. This juicer is very heavy and it's very big. The centrifugal juicers reach about 60 degrees which is only two degrees more than a slow juicer.

The face of the elite is more subject to abrasion during cleaning. The handle has a square corner that is impossible to clean and traps juice and pulp that splashes on it. The plastic parts stain.
The elite has a smaller feed * than the gold. The elite plunger is not as effective as the gold plunger and leaves food trapped in the *. The latch mechanism is also a major disadvantage to the machine. There is no gap between the grinder and auger.

Quality
Because of its intense purity i'm able to refrigerate a portion for up to 3 days after juicing and not lose nutrients or taste.
Cleaning tool supplied helped clean the screens - an annoying requirement of most juicers.
1 gal of carrot juice in 20 min, break for 15 min to let the motor rest, 1 gal grapefruit or orange juice for 10 min.
My last juicer overheated because it couldn't handle the volume i was juicing.
Price
And the amount of juice from the vegetables makes it worth the cost.
I can't pay $600 to juce just apples and veggies.
It's a lot of money but seriously i have no complaints.

Even of you get the fruit knob which i did it will not allow you to juice oranges and berries correctly
