Pros & Cons
Pros
This seems to be a quality juicer that does a terrific job. Despite a shortcomings described below. Not bad. Functionally this juicer is a pleasure to use.
Most of the cleanup is easy (see cons). Less mess. There is not much scrubbing after the grass juicing. As far as cleaning, this is the second easiest, the champion being the easiest.
This machine works flawlessly. My fav color is red so personally it was very appealing. This warranty is also unique in that if upgrades are made to the machine, the company will send you the upgraded part for the price of shipping.
Handled all the produce great, even the carrots and fennel. From kale to carrots, it powers through without hesitation. It chews up carrots as large as the feed * will allow without jamming.
The pulp is relatively dry when they come out and i reuse them for veggie burgers. The leftover pulp is dry so that i’m getting lots of juice. We use it for compost for our garden soil.
Cons
The cleaning brush is poor. It's slow and slow to clean. Anything hard stops the machine after a few minutes.
My bottomline opinion-it's a decent juicer, but it didn't live up to the positive reviews i've seen on amazon and youtube. This thing is absolute overpriced garbage. I'm angry that i didn't buy a juicer that isn't this temperamental.
The warranty is not as comprehensive as you might think. Although it has a 10 year warranty attached you are responsible for the shipping. It seems like engineers have not tried the product in real life. And that part was not covered by warranty.
Highlights
Quality
Although i have only had this unit for a month and will write an update later, this seems to be a quality juicer that does a terrific job.
I love everything about this juicer, excellent product.
So i gave it away and bought the slowstar.
I can live with the trade off.
Shipping
Good news: the company fixed it (free of charge minus one way shipping).
They wanted $50 with shipping to replace a cheap strainer.
Packaging/appearance
The designers and manufactuers came up with the perfect design for the auger in the tribest.
Was able to handle beets, sweet potatoes, celery without a problem.
Competitiveness
Come in tribest sw2020 slow star @ $379.
95, to the most expensive tribest at $599.
