This stand is not fooling around: it's solid metal and built like a tank.
Price
On inexpensively designed units, the brackets screw to the monitor and then screw on to the stand.
Other than that, it's a very nice stand for the price that holds my 27" and 2 23" monitors easily.

Set up was quick and self explanatory.

For me this is not a make or break as i got this for $90 and that was significantly cheaper than other similar models.

They arent always easy to take off and put back on especially if you arent able to work with them directly in front of you with no obstructions

I am not sure that you would be able to get 3 larger monitors to do the same thing though i am up against a wall and did not want to drill a hole in my desk to mount it so if you have more room behind the desk or feel like drilling holes you may be able to get better angles with larger monitors

There is a slight issue i have and that is the clip bracket they use for the mounting plates on the monitors

Simply put the monitors can tilt 5 degrees without actually shifting the joint on the frame
