The colors make my planner look fun. The container stands up nicely.

Staedtler pens are some of the very best pens i've encountered, like, ever.
They write smoothly and are very vivid!
Not all of the pens are super fine tip, and there is a little show through (though it's not really bleed) through my planner pages.
Price
My favorite pens, a little pricey but for an office nut they are great!
