The plug is not perfect round. Though the fit is not the firmest. The two pins inside the header appear to be misaligned compared to the oem headers.

I just wish they made a model for the srh-1540 shure headphones with the mmcx connector.
I'll update if issues arise, but considering the build quality.

I first saw this item on drop and decided to buy it on amazon for the faster shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Right out of the packaging, this cable had zero tangle, jank, or kink and it feels excellent to the touch.
Unwrapping them from their coiled up packaging they laid perfectly out flat.
I had trouble getting the left (blue) side to seat into the hd8xx.

Edit: more of a first impression than a review——i bought the 2 pin hd650 to xlr option for my hd600's.
I bought this cable for my hd800.
I bought them to replace my hifiman sundara stock cable which was abysmal.
I saw that drop had a previous cable promotion with linsoul and i said why not try it.
