Now that i have one i would not hesitate to get another for other projects however there are some caveatsfirst the owner’s manual is the first and thus far only place i’ve seen the warning that this unit is “for computer systems only”

If that really is a problem then the manufacturer needs to be clear about it in advertising and not just bury it in the box that you don’t see until after you purchase it

Next i have an issue with equipment that requires reference to the manual just to operate the poweronoff switch

It seems that this switch as multiple uses however turning the unit completely on and off except under specific circumstances is not one of those uses

I guess for a serverroom it sort of idiotproofs the system – you can’t power off the unit unless it’s unplugged from the wall
