Pros & Cons
Pros
Easily mountable vertically or horizontally. Mounts easily with the included clips. Sturdy mounting clips fir wall or base mounting speed.
Solid and durable. No nonsense. The only negative is that the packaging is pretty lame.
All are heavier steel with heavier outlets and power cords compared to unbranded units. The wire is thick and this power strip can handle big loads, so in that regard it's very competitively priced.
Cons
Wall mount clips have odd mounting hole making finding fasteners a chore. Unit is beige receptacles on a horrible color background that could only be described as beige with a hint of lime. The color of this is not aluminum.
It was irreparably burned out. Can’t run a chop saw off it. Also, who puts the reset on the end instead of the front?
Highlights
Quality
This is my third one for this type of application and it worked perfectly especially with the included mounting hardware.
High quality and just what you'd expect from tripp-lite.
