Pros & Cons
Pros
Tripp lite builds a high quality product. The beeper isn't obnoxious and can be silenced. Honestly this thing is a trooper.
I have my pc, main monitor, and router/ modem plugged in. It's easily able to handle my pc setup with 2 monitors, as well as the modem and router. I definitely recommend this for a gaming pc.
Cons
The battery meter on these things is 100% inaccurate, 100% of the time. Failure mode is intermittent shut-off. The oldest one and the last/newest three including this one have just up and died after a brief 3-5 second power outage even though the batt... Read More
Both of the units i bought are completely useless, totally defeating the purpose of a ups. This is disappointing, because i've used tripp lite products for a long time. Complete piece of junk.
Do yourself a favor and get an apc. Sooner or later they just go kaput.

After everyone i asked recommended the tripplite, i got one from amazon (quick delivery, yadda yadda).
It came fairly quick and was bought to replace an old one that i had for 10 years.
Only had it a short time, it sits there unloaded until new computer arrives.
Packaging/appearance
Though just unpacked it and plugged it in.
Also, box did show correct part number for what i ordered.
Competitiveness
This is a great replacement for a more expensive name brand i had.
I have been using these things since the mid 1990's and have bought a lot of them, mostly apc brand.
I bought this unit hoping that it was as good as my old apc 50s.
