Unit works well to supply my one computer, wifi dsl modem, and a home stereo remote amplifier during an outage. Been through multiple power outages in the 3 years and hasn't failed me yet. Half the plugs arent battery powered but are surge protected.
Tripp lites are solid, rugged, reliable, and easy to replace.
Cons

The ups from apc would switch back and forth every 10 seconds or so and would not remain on the line.

Better than apc and cyberpower options in the same price range.
With other brands the battery can never get ahead.
We previously had issues with various ups from apc when running on the power generator, similar price tags to this one from tripp lite.

I have the computer modems router phone and network nas hooked into the units and none of them had any issues with the switch from battery to mains and back when the power returned

The power surge had killed two of my external backup hard drive systems power supply on my desk top and my multifunction printer so i had chosen tripp lite smart1500lcdt for better protection delivery was quick however the outside box was big and with little insulation to prevent the unit from shifting around but fortunately the original packaging was sufficient to protect the unit
