Not shown in the picture is the incredibly inconvenient grounding cable. Slows internet down to almost nothing. There must be better data line surge suppressors out there.

Plug and play just be sure to hook the ground wire up to a 110 vac electrical outlet screw on the cover and not to the screws on the low voltage box where the phonecable connector is as the box inside is plastic and the screws are not grounded
