This product works as intended and is very high quality.
We are very happy with the adapter.
4/5 as does everything you really need this adapter to do, loses a star for the quality from the audio port.
Picture quality is good and audio is a plus - most dongles like this that i've encountered in the past haven't had the audio capability.
Packaging/appearance
It was easy to hook up right out of the package.
Competitiveness
While i don’t regularly need to do this i have an old 24in dell ultrasharp monitor which runs native 1920x1200.

It converts the hdmi signal fine but you cant just plug a vga monitor into it because the signal is too week to display

Good news is the display worked fine when i hooked up my dell laptop using the cable

Updatethe hdmi end fell out of the laptop and when it hit the floor all the prongs inside it fell out so it is no longer usable

I will be using it with my servers in datacenters as some newer boards dont have vga anymore yet kvm requires vga

The length is only 6 so the computer needs to be right next to the tv
