I found the power switch cover is a convenient option precluding inadvertent switching

Onoff switch is secured behind a plastic cap which is a nice idea to prevent accidental turn offs but the tiny hinged cap feels flimsy and i wonder if it would break with years of use

I bought this strip for 2 main reasons a to be able to fit more plugs in and b because it had no power surge protection

It is allmetal with solid mounting tabs on each end a resettable circuit breaker and an internally lighted onoff switch

I did however have to drill my own holes in the tabs
