Quality

This adapter has a good quality build (which can be expected by tripplite).

Works great for my acer chrome computer.

I still only get 24hz, but the display looks a little better with the apple adapter.

Edit: i just did a more serious comparison between the display with this adapter and with the apple adapter.

Price

The apple adapter is much smaller and more convenient, but i'm sure it would cost $29 from apple if it's still available.

I bought this to connect my samsung ativ notebook to a 2560x1440 dell monitor.

04 and this works flawlessly on my 1920x1200 resulation monitor.
