Pros & Cons
Pros
The chord is heavy duty as well--can withstand flying shrapnel. I anticipate this one will outlive me it is so sturdy and well made.
The sockets are nice and snug but not too tight. Perfect for mounting to workbenches. This takes it with ease. Works very well in my shop.
Highlights
Quality
Very sturdy and the sockets hold the plugs nice and tight.
Solid construction, nice tight outlets, not much to complain about.
I don't like 16 gauge extension cords going out to a car port on a 20 amp breaker almost 80 percent of the time.
This is used for network devices connected to a ups (surge strips are not recommended either before or after a ups.
Price
At 2x the price of a cheapie you are getting 10x the value.
Get yours now before it goes up to $75.
I bought two back in 2016 for $15 each.
These are a little more expensive but worth it for critical applications.
Competitiveness
I purchased this outlet strip along with several tripp lite isobar outlet strips.
Some large adapters could block an adjacent outlet, but tripp lite does make other models with wider spacing if you need that.
