Pros

Tripplite superspeed 4-port hub works as advertised. This give you the capability to run 4 usb 3. Devices. Replacement unit looks very well made and uses the same type b connector.

Superspeed hub is exactly what i needed for my macbook pro retina 2014. Plugged the hub into my desktop computer usb3 adapter card. Works amazingly well with my 27 imac.

Cons

It has indicator lamps to show when usb plugs are connected, but no power lamp that i can discern. It still powers up, but doesn't pass data.

It stings even more coming from tripp lite, especially after paying 150 bucks on the item. Very disappointing.
