The battery alert does work but on my older battery by the time the alarm went off my battery was too drained to start

I havent been able to pull too much current to overload this unit but there is an alarm that will go off to warn you so you dont damage the unit

Just because it says 2000w doesnt mean you can load it up with 2000 watts all at once
