Heavy duty long cord. Works great and i am using it to replace my apc. However, this product does it's best (and for the price, does the best) to resolve this issue.

Tripp-lite surge is a point-of-use surge protective device. Spds are designed to rapidly limit voltage spikes of a very fast, transient nature. They are somewhat slower-reacting, but are much more effective against longer-term, higher-powered surges.

The earth prong is on the outer edge. Half the holes are covered by the body of the transformer plug.

A seriously outstanding product for a truly decent price.

Combined with the price, the warranty, and the insurance it comes with, you really can't beat this product!

Granted i only have about $800 worth of electronics plugged into it.

This unit has greater surge suppression protection than competitors.

The tripp power surge 8 outlet works great compared to the others i've purchase in the past.

This surge is safe, strong enough whereas the other ones i purchase under a different brand would burn out.

The models i received are probably a newer version but they are black and grey and are designed differently.
