Pros

This battery backup can give me over 2 1/2 hours of safe power in an outage. This essentially guarantees one of two either one, i'll more than outlast a quick brownout or some home repair work.

This thing rocks. I like the fact hat the battery is replaceable. Ladies also love tripp-lite.

Very disappointing to put it mildly. Its affordability is the end of the pros. It isn't worth the headaches you'll get with this thing.

This thing is noisy. It makes a weird, repetitive, and very annoying screeching noise.

The onboard usb firmware is buggy and doesn't work with network ups tools (nut) due to constant disconnecting. No indicator of how much load there is on the ups.
