Pros

Factory power cords are so darn chintzy! Fits perfectly. This seems like a hefty, good-quality cord. The quality of the material is stellar.

Tripp-lite cables are 14awg and have high quality. Thick insulation of the cable prolongs its life and lowers the possibility of wear and injury.

The input for this plug is not a regular 3 prong outlet. The iec end of the cable is worthless. The female end is loose when connected to the computer monitor, so there appears to be a lack of proper contact with all three prongs when plugged in.
