Reuse the same capacitor and mov and you have a truly isolated setup, while maintaining input case grounding for fail safe.

Removing the grounds is not really a hazard per se, but it will add noise to the system and make everything worse.

Definitely the best price for an item i would never find locally.

I've found this iso to be a good value for my lab bench, when restoring antique radios.

The price was right so i ordered it, knowing amazon's return policy is fair in case it didn't work.

The tripp lite is250 was delivered one day ahead of time and was packaged very well.

Packaging/appearance

After driving a few electricians mad, i got this box and my guitar amps were silenced.

There was no sign of damage to the packaging so this was simply a qc oversight during packaging.

My only gripe is the poopy packaging.

Competitiveness

Nothing against those brands, as they work well other places, just not in my place.

I wish it had a little more bass, but that might be the record just as much as the phono amp.

Price-wise it may be better if you cand find it at a local electronics supplier or audio store.
