Installed this in my laundry room so a voltage spike which the utility company says will never happen due to a lightning strike on a utility pole nearby does not damage my washer and dryer

It is a bit bulky and heavy but i’d rather trust this product than a cheap plastic piece of junk when it is integrated into pricey equipment

If the outlet is behind the units wasnt until pedestals were installed then the 4 depth of the surge protector combined with the length of the washer plug of another 4 resulted in moving the washer too far away from the wall
