Pros

Trip lite surge protector is perhaps the most sturdy robust protector in its class. It is thoughtfully designed. They have a very satisfying weight and great sense of sturdiness.

Cons

Tripp lite's distribution seems to be a real mess. Usb port to my audio interface was damaged and stopped working. Lost my second tv on this while properly connected to a grounded outlet.

I needed a mid-tier priced surge protector that could handle the printer load and any electrical occurrences.

This is the best i could find under my price point, even though i had to take it apart and flip the ends around to access the mounting.

Protection at a fraction of replacement cost!

For about $70 you get a 6 socket device that will last and reliability work for you.

Shipping

I had to wait a while to be able to receive this unit.

In fact, i even had to pay for shipping.

Competitiveness

Great alternative to far more expensive furman product line that checks off my wish list—only two outlets with a relatively short cord.

I have other triplight units which have performed well.

Not sure the cheaper alternatives sold today will match the performance and protection of a tripp lite box.
