Pros & Cons
Pros
All three wires in a 120 volt receptacle have surge protection and all 3 wires have 330v clamping voltage. High surge amperage rating (not really needed if you have a whole-house protector, but nice to have) low let-through voltage (officially 330v, b... Read More
Cons
My biggest gripe here isn't with the shop which did a fine job of shipping their product - my gripe is however i don't feel that amazon does a good enough job of making it clear that this is a used product. Most people see the image of the product the... Read More
There is a fuse soldered on the motherboard, and it tripped and doesn't work anymore. On the bottom of unit it states it cannot be used with 30 ft of the breaker box.
There is an audible intermittent click/hum during the first :08 seconds of the video. I have 3 monitor displays that 2 are making noise on the display of sdr that it shows vertical lines on the lcd. Both have faint buzzing noise.
Highlights
Quality
Like quality and durability of the product for my home computer network.
This surge protector is solidly built andeasy to use with good documentation.
My lights were flashing on and off, and several breakers tripped before the incoming power eventually failed.
Clamping voltage is how high the voltage gets before the surge protector reacts.
Price
To anyone worried about the price - trust me when i say you get what you pay for, and these are a great deal.
Worth every penny for peace of mind and genuine device protection.
That would be great, just don't make it cheap!
Would be difficult to do better with this price point.
Shipping
The item was delivered quickly and was well packaged.
Packaging/appearance
Because amazon packing does not have a clue what goes together.
Competitiveness
The specs on this surge protector are better than most other surge protectors i have seen.
If you've got expensive electronics, there's nothing better than these.
20 years seems fair enough, so i just bought the same brand and configuration.
Haven't had any surges yet but the low clamping voltage should do better than other cheap surge protectors.

In laymans terms tripp lite isobar ultra isobar surge protectors filter out more the junk electrical noise they protect against surges for a longer time when theyve really been zapped they shut off letting you know theyre no longer working they protect multiple devices plugged into the surge from hurting each other and they do all of this more quickly and effectively than any other surge protector ive ever researched

My only complaint about the tripp lite isobar6ultra isobar surge protector power strips is that theyre ugly or at least they look very industrial and theyre expensive
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Note that the less expensive triplite surge protectors also do a good job with surges but they lack the filtering and device isolation
