Pros

I perceive that it offers decent and reliable protection, at a good price. I have about $20,000 worth of amps and electronics in my rack and feel confident that these units will do their job to provide clean, regulated voltage and surge protection. Fu...  Read More

Cons

The unit is solid, well built with a convenient number of outlets at a fair price but, it hums very loudly. Did not get what i was expected to get from a dirty generator power. All the 15 amp outlets worked okay, but the 20 amp higher filtered outlets...  Read More

Quality

It has been used for many months and provides solid, steady current.

I do seriously recommend this unit, i purchased mine over 20 years ago and it continues to provide current to my macpro, good clean power.

We had a bad enough power surge that our hvac controller and refrigerator blew their circuit boards a couple years ago.

So at my old house we had very bad power, to the point where computer hardware would burn out after mere months.

They've probably paid for themselves a few times over.

First off the furman is only 1400 watts and cost almost 600.

I bought two for the price of one furman.

Shipping

Before getting this, my ups would constantly be triggered for the smallest of power fluctuations.

I deploy these on server racks to keep power conditioned before the ups.

The ups with the line conditioner is about 2-3 years old and works fine.

Competitiveness

Works great and better price then competitors for same protection.

In my opinion, this is a better option than a ups for line conditioning since the battery will die sooner (my experience) or later.

You can spend a lot more and only get surge protection with other brands but triplite is a known and respected name.
