Pros

My only concern is that one reviewer noticed a malfunctioning usb. The only downside is the cable - it's ridiculously thick and stiff.

Sturdy and great clamp for mounting. The bracket is strong. No forcing or bending is necessary.

It has a good number of outlets, spaced out. A more subtle design is the spacing of the outlets. The outlets are well spaced to accept warts, unlike other brands.

Cons

The clamp mechanism is weak and barely functional. I expect better durability for a product that costs about $50. Returned for refund.

Downgraded my initial 4-star review due to compatibility issues. The usb plugs on it are basically dead. The switch still lights up but the grounded and protected lights no longer worked.

I like the solid construction and secure mounting.

This thing is solidly built and so far is holding up great.

After a few weeks the surge protector fell and peeled some of the underside of the desk coating off.

After swapping usb cords and eliminating weak plugs on the lights as the issue it had to be the usb port at fault.

Price

It was surprisingly hard to find at any price.

It's a bit pricey but perfect for my needs.

Buy the tripp-lite, it's worth the extra $5.

Competitiveness

Skip all of the no name brands and go with a proven, ul listed option from tripplite.

I came very close to buying another cheaper brand, but opted for this one for the brand reputation and more solid reviews.
